There is nothing better for me than a warm cup of coffee in a cold winter day. Very often in the weekends we come to our local Cafe Munchies to have a nice meal and enjoy their friendly service. And that’s what we did today, since we needed to warm up after a long walk with my husband and my little boy Emil. The place is super cozy and relaxing, and I love their delicious cafe latte.
Oh..and by the way.. today I am wearing my new vintage beret, which I absolutely love! I wish to have few more in different colours.
Leather jacket from Ganni, wool sweater from Benetton, rings from Stine A and Frk. Lisberg
Time flies, and I can not believe it’s December again. Even, I’m super busy with my schedule, this year, I managed to decorate our apartment and feel so proud of my self. Each year I try to come up with some new ideas and I also love to create my own decorations.
I created this garland as I had so many pine cones, that we found last summer. And it was super easy to make it, as I just used a glue gun. Already feel like making few more for our Christmas tree, just maybe adding some other details instead of pearls.
Last year my mom teached me how to make these beautiful paper angels, and I enjoyed it so much. So, this year I decided to make few for our Christmas tree and I love it! If I have time I would like to make few for my family and friends as well…
To be honest, I could call my self a magpie! I love shiny things, and I love December as it ‘allows’ to dress in a more sparkling and chic way. And I think especially this year, fashion stores are offering a wide variety of shiny clothes and accessories. So I feel like buying a new sequin skirt or jumper this season, and use it for special occasions or daily wear, depending on accessories I have.
It is so dark and cold outside, and I feel sow sad and tired today. I am dreaming of a sunny summer day, lying on an exotic beach, enjoying Pina Colada’s and the sunset. Here are some pictures from our previous holidays in Mauritius. It was such a nice place to visit, with beautiful nature, friendly people and of course sunny days! I can definitely recommend it…
It is time to have a few words on one of my favourite beauty products that I felt in love few years ago. Coconut oil, that is one of the natural must haves on my bathroom shelf, and I use it for so many things, in my beauty routine. As I always struggle with very dry hair, coconut oil became one of my favourite products. I usually apply a lot of it on my hair before I go to bed and I let it stay while I sleep. I promise this is the best overnight treatment for your hair! You can wrap a shower cap or a towel, so that you don’t destroy your pillow. My hair looks so much better after I wash it in the morning. It feels soft, nourished and shiny. Moreover, I noticed that it helped my hair grow longer and faster as it has so many vitamins and improves scalp health. So, try it! And later on I will share some of my other coconut oil beauty tips…
Meet my beautiful, stylish and inspiring friend Joicy. We met when we started studying Sustainable Fashion Design in Copenhagen, and became very good friends. She is so sweet and funny, and I am so happy that I had the chance to meet her. Joicy is from Brazil and she moved to Copenhagen almost one year ago. She worked as fashion journalist for the last few years and at the same time she is the founder of her blog Vintage Guide. Since we became very good friends, we decided to share and combine our ideas, styles and personalities. So, finally here is our first project together.
As the weather is getting colder and the sky grey, we decided to bring a lot of colors to the streets of Copenhagen. And it does’t matter if you go for smart everyday look, or something extravagant, choose colors to bring more life to the grey autumn city. And remember…. there are no rules in fashion! So, I hope you will enjoy our colorful day in lovely Copenhagen.
Recently a have been visiting Yayoi Kusama exhibition in Louisiana Museum of Art, located outside Copenhagen, and must say it took my breath away. Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama is mostly known as contemporary artist and can be called as princess of polka dots and nets. Apart from her fascinating drawings, she is famous in pattern making, performance art, sculpture and installations. It was quite impressive to see Kusama’s Infinity Mirror and Installation rooms, as an expression of her mesmerizing mind when it comes to outside environment. Through her life stages, Kusama was involved into fashion world as well. She started creating her dresses and textiles and in 1969 she opened her own clothing store. Moreover, her patterns and polka dots can be found on different design products. Collaboration with Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton leaded to a beautiful range of fashion wear like shoes, dresses, bags or sunglasses. If you are in Copenhagen until 24.01.2016, don’t miss a chance to see the fascinating Kusama’s infinity world. And I promise it is worth to see! If you need more info you can visit www.louisiana.dk
