The cool girl hair style has been on the trend everywhere in 2017, and it seems like it is not going anywhere soon. So, yes as you can see I cut my bangs. You can hate it or you can love it, but that is the best thing I did this summer. It’s like a new statement piece, I would say a cool accessory, that makes me feel like a completely new person. I had bangs couple of year ago, but I got so tired of it, because it was to heavy. Literally, almost half of may hair has been transformed into bangs, and I had so many issue when I had to grow it out. Anyways, I love the way it is now, very light and girlish, with inspiration taken from my favourite 70’s style icon Jane Birkin. There are of course pros and cons for this hair cut, however let’s discuss it latter, while now I love is so much, without caring about anything…
Sometimes, routine and crazy lifestyle these days can empty our brains without even realising it. For me, life is not just the matter of eating, sleeping, going to work or whatever. I just realised that I cannot remember when was the last time I red a nice book, or let my brain to relax. And this is not good, that just kills my creativity and I believe most of us would feel the same way. So, what to do when you feel like you are stuck and cannot even dream. Well, go to Paris! That’s right… if you have a creative mind, you will ‘blossom’ like a flower again, of just seeing all the beautiful museums, architecture and people, I mean stylish people. That is just a big source of inspiration! I am currently on trend forecasting trip in Paris, and enjoying every single minute of it. It just makes me happy, feel creative and I am taking a full luggage of new ideas with me.
And if you are not into architecture or art, there are so many other things to enjoy. Just getting the spirit of Parisian life style is always nice. And let me tell you, the food, the wine and french pastries are on top. My gym shoes are already waiting for me when I am back in Copenhagen.
The city is the best place to shop and I personally love to search for a small vintage shops, so I know I can get some very unique pieces with a smell of Paris. And that is the best thing to do if you want to run away from tourists and enjoy small but beautiful things.
So, it is almost time to welcome a new and hopeful year into our lives. Time to open a new book and set goals for a fresh beginning of 2017. Take all the positive thoughts and ideas from previous year and leave the bad things behind. And most importantly, remember all the loved ones! Family and true friends are our power, our treasure and true gifts in our lives. Happy New Year!
Few days til Christmas, and we are running around, shopping and finding last presents for our loved ones. Surprisingly, I was able to buy it all “on time” this year, since I do it very last minute normally. So, what about some wrapping ideas? Every year, I go for some different themes, and I love to add little details from the nature. This year I wanted to keep a very light blue tones, combining it with some decorative paper. And of course fir branches gives that wintery Christmas sense. It is simple, Scandinavian and made with love!
October is getting closer to the end, and I just wanted to share some of these cozy pictures, that I had on my camera since last Saturday. I had a very nice day outside the city. Especially now, when the weather is so foggy and the trees are so colorful, the spirit is just amazing. So, I had a chance to visit a little farm, offering some pretty nice October goodies, and yes… organic as from grandma’s garden. And you know, when I go to the places like this, I don’t think too much about food and what I bring home, even so it is still very nice. It is more about having a good time, in a relaxed atmosphere, letting you to feel and remember how beautiful each season can be. This place is offering some really nice attractions as well and if you are lucky with the weather you can pick your own pumpkin or delicious apples directly from the tree. Well, it was a bit windy that day so; some fresh goodies from their local shop were good enough.
October is almost over, but the spiritual atmosphere will still stay for few more weeks, so don’t let the Christmas marketers to overtake it. It is way too early!
For those who are not fans of Instagram, I decided to share some of my Instagram moments of the week, since some of the pictures are never appearing here on my blog. I will try to do that on the weekly basis, so keep an eye if you like it. Otherwise I wish you a cozy Sunday evening..
My thoughts are all about autumn colors these days! I am not sure if I should talk about my outfit or about these pretty flowers, that actually appeared so beautiful in the pictures. What I love most about it, is this gorgeous deep red pinky color, screaming – it’s autumn, finally! I could even call it my extra accessory of the day… No doubt flowers are my little addiction.
Today I had one of these mornings, when you look into your wardrobe and nothing..nothing to wear.. I guess there are no women in the entire world, who did not try this silly issue. Lucky me, I found my old dress that I totally forgot about. Absolutely love this color, and it is one of my favorite shades this season.
Sometimes there is no reason to spend your money on new clothes, just because you had a difficulty to dress up in the morning. And a good advice would be, pack your things aways, and when you forget about it, you will be quite impressed. I promise, you will love it again!
So it’s Friday and you might feel like decorating your home with some fresh flowers. I love it so much, and very often I buy them before the weekend. Sometimes in the summer time I love to pick some wild flowers and I think it is so beautiful and cozy. So, now I decided that I will keep on doing that until the summer is over and just play with some different colours. You might not even notice how beautiful wild flowers can be until you bring it home, and most important you don’t need to spend any money on it. Love it!
