For the last few years the mixture of different prints became a fashion trend. However there are still many women out there who do not dare to wear more then one printed fabric at once. My sister for example with a very minimalistic style would never do that, as most of the time she spends in the office dressed in a very diplomatic way. She loves fashion, however she would not mix too many different fabrics even in her spare time. Well, I think that women can play with prints and be stylish on the job as well.
To make a safer choice you could start by playing only with black and white colors, in order to create a classic and stylish look. Make sure that you are mixing maximum two pieces together. Or you could add an accessory like for example a floral scarf, which you can always take of if you don’t feel comfortable. You can also play with the size of prints, within the same color group. I personally love stripes and it is such an easy print to wear, as it matches almost with everything. As you can see I really got some contrast between my pieces, since the print of my jersey top is very bulky, compare to my blazer. However, I think that this top would go very nice with any kind of printed blazer, skirt or pants. Try flowers, try geometric shapes, try any color and you will make a statement!

If you consider yourself a practical woman, then I guess this post is for you. Let’s talk about minimalistic way of dressing, that has been all over the internet for a while. If you ask me, if my style is minimalistic, I would definitely say no, however when my head or my life is overloaded, it happens naturally. So I keep it clean and simple without having too many things on me. If you like this look let me tell you something… That is the most easy and fast way of dressing in the morning. What you have to do is to stick to a maximum of three colors. Some stylists would say black and white are the essential, where I think it is not necessarily. The most important thing is, that you keep it simple, with minimal amount of shades. However, black and white are the most easy colors to combine in order to create cool and sharp minimal outfit. I personally love plain white t-shirts, and that is a ‘must’ item in my wardrobe, since it is very practical and goes so well with trousers or jeans. Another good thing about minimalistic style is that you need a good variety of classic pieces in your closet. That is super nice since you going to keep these clothes for many years, and it will allow you to invest in good quality items. To finish your look, add a minimum amount of accessories, like a pair of tiny earrings or necklace. Remember less is more, and not always has to be boring…

My mother used to say that yellow and dark blue are “my colors” when I was a child and she would always look for dresses in these tones. Well, maybe that’s why I kind of feel sympathy for these colors. Blue navy always makes me feel very comfortable, like you know the feeling of being in your “own skin”… If you are a big fan of black, but still want some changes, this might be a good alternative for you due to it’s solid tone. Moreover, it is a very neutral and universal shade, so you can wear it anywhere with everything, and of course don’t forget denim! In fact Navy Peony is one of the colors of Fall 2017, according to Pantone Color Institute. Well, I know I know… I am mixing seasons, but who cares, there are no rules in styling in these days, the most important thing is how you feel. Combine it with light shades to give some contrast and I guess you have a total summer look.

There is something about denim, and I guess these are the pieces, which stay in our closets for many years. Classic, cool and never goes out of style. Well, maybe particular styles, but not the fabric. In fact denim is the most unsustainable material in textile industry, so remember, when you want to get rid of it, fix it, remake it and bring it back to life!
Anyways, I did not wear jeans that often this winter so I kind of missed that, and now I can’t get enough of it. So, denim on denim is my new favourite look, which has been on the streets for years. Some would say a big NO to this kind of combination, however if you gonna do it right you will end up with a smart and casual look. Just remember to mix different tones, let’s say dark blue jeans with light blue shirt or jacket. If you have the same color pieces, try to add accessories, like bright belt or scarf, to give a bit more contrast.
If you want the same look as mine, I have to disappoint you since my denim pieces are vintage. However, that’s not the point! Check what you have in your wardrobe, and play with different tones and colors. I am sure you gonna find some nice styles and will end up with beautiful outfits.

For the last few days, I was super busy with some graphic design projects, so I did not have any time to edit any pictures and spend time on my blog. Finally I am back on track, and it feels lovely.
So let’s talk a bit about this color that was a big hit in 2000’s. All of us know that fashion trends repeating itself every 10-15 years, and I remember how my wardrobe was occupied by khaki at that time. Happy to see that same color tones are back on the fashion runways, since I am a big fan of it. You might say that it is more for fall and winter due to it’s darkness, however specially in the summer khaki looks so beautiful on sun kissed skin, and you probably already know that. In fact, you can combine and mix it with any color and will never fail, so I guess I would say, it is the most easy color to wear. And how about a pair of oversize khaki pants? That was super trendy in the 2000’s right? And seems that it is on the way back. Well, the best thing about it, is the casual look and of course comfort!

Hello ladies, I guess we could say that “Converse” season is officially opened. It is not too cold and not too wet to wear these classic and comfy beauties. I know some people are obsessed with collecting different colors, and last day my friend was trying to count her pairs, and ended up with nine! I am so curious, how about you guys?
I am pretty sure we all went through spring ‘syndrome’ already, when all you want is to look nice. When you want to get out and enjoy the weather and feel beautiful by feeling the spring in the air. Winter wardrobe, that is something you don’t even want to look at, and you are rushing to pack it away as soon as you have time for it. However, this time of the year often can be quite tricky and some unexpected weather changes might not be very satisfying. So, what to do when the temperature goes down and reminds us more of the winter weather, even though it is still spring? That is quite irritating because very often we don’t know what to wear… Well, I would suggest go for something warm, but fresh! Something that will keep you cozy and comfy but still very summerish. A light bomber jacket, or pastel trench coat could create a lighter and more outgoing style. You could also add layers and mix some different spring prints, for making it even more eye catching. And don’t forget sunglasses, even though it is cold outside, you need to protect your beautiful eyes and complete your stylish look!

It’s about time to take out some summery white pieces from our wardrobe. Most of us, would switch everyday blue denim look into white during this time of the year. These days, when we look at a crazy street style and all fashionistas, there are almost no excuses for not owning a pair of white jeans in the closet, since there are no rules anymore on how to wear it. I would call it a classic item, that we should have in our collection. The ones I have on are actually quite old and I never get tired of it. Anyways, some would say that styling can be a bit tricky, since you need to be careful with mixing right colors. White on white? Pastels with white? Not necessarily, make a contrast.. Go for dark or black, and combine it with some accessories if you feel like. If you are afraid of too girly look, make it a bit edgy by wearing a pair of masculine boots or belt. Play with your style and have fun!
You know I absolutely love wearing black, and that is not the color most of us would go for, when the sun is calling outside. Well, there are no rules in fashion so why to avoid black during spring. The most important thing is how you feel inside and what makes you comfy, and remember any piece of clothing will look adorable on the shining soul.. Just be happy and you will glam like a star girl! Anyways, to make your ‘black’ outfit look more interesting, you can choose playing with fabrics, just make sure they differ in textile composition. Check your wardrobe, and I am sure you will find many different garments in the same black color. My leather jacket is my favourite item for spring and I don’t even need to think too much what I have to wear, it matches with anything. That’s my statement piece for sure, and it is perfect for this season or chilly summer days. Don’t forget accessories as well, since small details can make a big difference. A pair of cool sunglasses could be perfect choice. But if you have your own favourite statement items, go for it, as I already said.. the most important thing is how you feel inside! Wish you a lovely day my dear ladies, enjoy spring!

When we feel the spirit of spring most of us want to go for more colorful and of course light pieces. If you love long jackets, go for a colorful one, and you going to make a statement this season. Long silhouette jackets were on the trends for the last few years, however most of it in very neutral colors. I was looking for the perfect one in the vintage stores for a long time, every time ending with size issue. So, I am quite surprised that this spring you can find so many colorful pieces in the stores. The one, I am wearing matches perfectly with my new vintage belt, which I love love love…! Found it in the second hand store couple of days ago for ‘no money’. Because of its cute and colorful badge goes well with everything. Unique items always makes me happy, going for a hunt very soon since my vintage shopping list is growing..
