When the days get cooler, it is time to search for some goodies, that can keep us warm through out the day. One of the best pieces this season that you could invest is a plaid coat. It is super trendy at the moment, however I could call it a classic piece that never goes out of fashion. Even, for women who are always looking for simple and classic pieces, plaid could be a good option. We could call it a statement piece, which at the same time goes well with anything at anytime. Go for a red one, if you really want to make a statement, and yes.. red is the coolest colour at the moment! But if you want to keep it more simple, play with black and white plaid printed coat. And you know simple does not mean, it is boring! You can always dress the coat with jeans, animal or floral prints, vintage pieces or what ever you can find. There are so many fashion stores at the moment, providing plaid coats and jackets depending on your shape and needs. I personally love the one I am wearing because of it’s edgy and vintage inspired silhouette..

Size and proportions in women’s fashion play big role these days. Reverse situation, in men’s wear, where everything is about slim fit recently… Please forgive me dear men if I am wrong, but that is kind of a true. We are living in the era of gender equality, and almost nothing comes as a surprise. Probably, there are no looks in menswear, that we women did not borrowed. Hot boyfriend blazers have been on the trend for decades now, and it seems its like it is just getting bigger in size. It brings my thoughts back to 80’s when everything was about shoulder pads. You can hate it or love it, but it is the latest and hottest addiction of most fashionistas. It is totally up to you, how you gonna wear it. You can go for a complete men’s look, bearing it with masculine trousers. On the other hand, combination with feminine pieces, like a light dress or skirt would make an outfit even more interesting.

When the summer ends, I always go through some kind of phase of sadness and melancholy, and that is something I experience since I was a child. But as soon as the leaves start changing the colours, I start to feel this inexpressible feeling of calmness and happiness. It is getting cold, but the feeling of wrapping yourself in a chunky sweater, with a delicious cup of hot chocolate on the couch in the terrace or cozy cafeteria, is irreplaceable. Big sweaters are my best friends during this time of the year. And I always make sure that the blend consist of at least seventy percent of wool. It is more expensive, however I always think of it as a long term investment, because I know I will wear it autumn after autumn, winter after winter.. When it comes to the colour, this year I went for this emerald tone, simply because green is the colour of the year and I love it! Being a fast fashion brand H&M is slightly introducing more quality pieces into their collections and that is really nice. Well, it is more pricy however still affordable. The one I am wearing contains 86% of alpaca wool and it is very nice and warm. Check their stores if you are interested, I guess they have in few more shades.
What I like about fashion in these days, is that it allows you to be creative in so many different ways. And sometimes just one little detail, can help you go crazy and create so many different looks. Have you noticed that brooches are having a good time on the red carpet and fashion magazines lately? So, let’s bring it on! For many years this accessory has been a statement piece, regardless size, colour or shape. It can really bring some life to an old outfit, and you have so many possibilities on how you want to wear it, depending on your personal style. I like to wear brooches in a bit more unusual way, to emphasise the outfit. Today I combined it with my favourite silk scarf, where sometimes I like to decorate a simple belt to create a cool and unique look.
You know my passion for vintage items, so for this look I chose an old grandmas’s brooch which is my biggest treasure. But if you want to experiment, you can get some pretty cool pieces in most fashion stores at the moment. Hope you got inspired and wish you a lovely day..
Some days, all you need is a comfy pair of jeans and something super relaxing. And I guess for the most of us that’s all we want in the weekends. I know for many women, boyfriend jeans are just out of the subject, cause well, it has a special cut and does not mach our unique bodies. I could never find a perfect pair of boyfriend jeans for my self, because well, I am quite short person and it would make me look a bit funny. Recently, I found a pair that works for me and what I also discovered that, if I wear something to cover my butt, like a long shirt or oversize jumper, it gives a more flattering look. Try, maybe it will work for you as well… For a casual day like this I would go for a pink shirt, to neutralise this super boyish look. In fact, we all know that pink is a feminine colour, so why not..
Enjoy your weekend ladies!

When the summer leaves us, we rush to jump into autumn jackets and heavy jumpers. I see so many bloggers and fashion magazines talking about winter pieces already, which I think is way too early. We still have the whole September in front of us, which I am sure will bring many sunny days, demanding light summer pieces. I personally like to reorganise my wardrobe, when October starts, when the leaves starts to change colours and when the air becomes cooler. That is the time when i feel the need for fall tones, blending into the whole autumn spirit. So, right now I am keeping my summer pieces out, because you know we have the whole cold season in front of us. In fact, it is not the end of the summer that gives us the feeling of buying new items.. It is marketing and social media that plays with our minds! So, don’t be a victim of that..
Buy the way I am in love with my vintage belt, which was a bit impulsive buy! However I feel it is going to be my new statement piece this autumn.
I wish you all a wonderful month ahead friends.. Enjoy!
It is crazy how fashion and our lifestyles change. New trends are coming out and going away. Ten years ago we would consider sneakers as more sporty wear, only matching it with casual, ‘relaxed’ outfits. Today, a pair of trainers, combined with a floral, romantic dress is totally ok in our society. There are so many magazines and blogs, sharing some good tips on how to wear a classic pair of sneakers with unusual pieces. In fact, I believe that you will never fail by thinking outside the box in these days. Sneakers with most unmatchable outfit, can really make a statement and became the biggest trend. It is hard to say who brought these trends into the streets, but when Chanel put sneakers into haute couture collection, it became 100% acceptable to wear trainers with evening pieces.
If you want to mix and match your sneakers with any outfit, I would advice you to invest into basic sneakers, with very classic a neutral colours, like black or white. In that case you do not need to think about the colours, it will match perfectly with any of your outfits, like for example a classic red nail polish. With good basics you will have endless options for creating different looks for different occasions.

We are all different, with unique lifestyles and personalities. We grew up in different countries, cultures or religions… However, we all know what is behind that logo of a little guy Mickey Mouse. More or less, this iconic figure influenced our childhood, leaving us with warm and nostalgic feelings. Maybe that is one of the reasons why this character continuously staying on the adult fashion pieces for years. Perhaps it indicates our obsession with Mickey. Well, I am a little bit in love too, with this trend. However, I would not go for brand new pieces available at Disney store, since Mickey Mouse is a retro character. I want to keep it vintage in order to create the cool old-school style. I found my pants in the local vintage store, reminding me of 90’s, childhood, and neighbourhood kids.. If you are a bit childish like me, try to search for vintage items on Etsy.com, where you can find a lot of options and styles with Disney motives.
Everybody noticed that gingham trend has been on top this spring and summer, and it seems like it is not ready to leave us yet. I love this kind of print because it is super easy to style. However, there are many women out there who would not dare to mix this pattern into their wardrobe. And I know why, because for many it associates with classic picnic blanket. Well, that is why I love it so much, cause it brings good emotions, and can make you look refreshingly chic. Go for black and white gingham instead of traditional red, blue or green. It will give a more neutral but still playful look. You can find so many different styles in the fashion stores, from classy masculine, to very feminine pieces at the moment. Gingham items don’t have to feel rustic and old fashion, since it got some trendy touches of ruffles or appliqués. For a feminine and modern look, team your gingham look with white sneakers.
