Hello all beautiful ladies! Today I wanted to share this super easy DIY hair style. It is a perfect trick if your hair is like mine, not long enough for a high and voluminous ponytail. I found the recipe in the Hair Code magazine, full of beautiful and easy do it yourself styles. So, just follow the steps as on the page I took the picture of, and you will be surprised with the results. Easy, fast, trendy and beautiful. I guess most of use are preparing for all Christmas celebrations, so I thought why not to share this cool hair style in order to help you to choose the pretty one for the party. Well, it is perfect for a day time as well, so no limits! Enjoy and have a great day.
When the sun comes out in November there is no doubt, you probably need to take out your sunglasses again. I don’t know why but I always think that it is so bright during this time of the year as the sun appears so low in the sky. Anyways, I love every single moment of it, as we do not see it so often in Scandinavia during winter.
I guess most of us feel more happy during these sunny days. So, why not to bring a bit more life and fun to your daily look. Autumn outfits don’t have to be boring… make it fabulous. You can easily make a statement going for metallic peaces this year, and in fact this trend gonna stay for a while. And it does not have to be a pair of trousers… Go for skirt, jacket or a bag! Choose from variety of colors, as there are so many available in the stores right now. Step away from classic gold and silver and you gonna rock!
If you are having difficulty finding a right winter coat or a jacket, get a long one! And it does not matter if it is a long line or a trench coat, both are trendy this season, as long as you go for extra length. Floor sweeping, oversize coats appear in the stores and you gonna see a lot of this trend during winter. I love wearing long jackets and coats, cause it gives a classy and at the same time a very cool look. Moreover, it keeps me warm and cozy, and that is a must, since I am a freezing most of the time.
Some of you might think, ok..for a classic, long jacket a delicate outfit and a pair of elegant boots is a must. No, and that is one of the reasons why I love it so much. You can play with your style and your mood, and a pair of sneakers is totally ok. As you can see the rest of my outfit is far from elegant, and the army boots makes it even more cool.
I personally would say a good investment into a coat, when you know it will never go out of style, keeps you warm, you can put it on both day time and evening, and you can wear it in many ways. So go for it!
It’s getting really cold outside, and the only think I can dream about, is a cup of hot cacao, or two.. When the weather is getting frosty, I have to deal with some serious chocolate cravings, and I freeze all the time and everywhere. So, a good cup of hot chocolate is the best thing to warm up. The one that you see in the pictures is not a classic one, made out of traditional ingredients. I used only almond milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, fresh vanilla and organic raw cacao, which trust me is delicious. I try to avoid sugar as much as I can, so very often I look for some vegan recipes for inspiration, and there are so many nice and healthy substitutes, and very tasty of course.
For one cup I used:
1 cup of almond milk, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 2-3 table tablespoons cacao, half fresh vanilla, 2 cinnamon sticks
I am sure there are so many ladies out there, who at least once in their life bought a new piece of clothing, just to make themselves happy, or maybe without even considering if they really need it. Not a secret, I am one of them. Do you know that fashion industry is one of the world’s biggest polluters? And do you know where do your old clothes go after you don’t need it and put it into trash? Well, most of the time into the landfills, releasing gas and toxic air pollutants. I love fashion myself and I am not saying that we should stop buying. But what I am trying to say, that we should at least think more innovative and sustainable. Donate your unwanted garments to a local charity. Bring it to the fashion stores like for example H&M. Many big fashion brands are able to collect and recycle old textiles into new. Buy from second hand us well, and trust me that is my favorite kind if shopping… Like a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get.
My outfit today is definitely second hand and vintage, except for my sneakers. All pieces I found in the Danish Red Cross shops. And I want to give a big compliment to the organization, for releasing this beautiful fashion magazine ‘Stil’, involving famous people, models and actresses wearing second hand clothes. A smart and great way to convince young people to rethink and reuse! If you live in Denmark, I guess you can find the magazine in most of the Red Cross shops, and it is free.
Have a beautiful day and don’t let fashion go to waste!
