Sometimes adding some simple details to your outfit can really make a statement. So let’s talk about that… I guess you all noticed the biggest denim trend at the moment. It seems like embroidered jeans came back from the 90s and is gonna stay for a while. You can find many pieces in the shops with cool embroidery at the moment, and if you are feeling creative and have time you might want to DIY this trend, to make your old jeans come back to life. I am more into geometric shapes at the moment, but floral embroidery denim looks very good too, so just check Pinterest for some inspiration if you feel like. I love this trend a lot, and I think embroidery gives a little extra to the denim, so go for some bright colors if you want a new summer look.
There is another simple way to add some new details to your overall look. You might consider playing with your shoes as well, and the most simple and cheep way is to change a boring ribbon into something more eye catching. I went for this pretty lace ribbon, but you can pick any, depending on the shoe type, and I guess for example sneakers would be very easy to style. I have some more DIY projects coming, but I guess I will keep it for later posts. Have a great and creative day my dear readers!
The fashion world is influenced by society and society is influenced by fashion. Few centuries ago we would never imagine women going into menswear closet, wearing pants or pantsuits. Today, trends are changing so fast, that we almost do not have time to judge or dislike new movements. Few years ago many of us would say that pantsuit is a perfect classic for office work, business or professional meetings. I guess most of us stopped taking fashion too seriously and dress according to the ‘rules’. Today this classic piece became less serious, and we are kind of allowed to play with it as we wanted to and brake all the rules. I think it makes our lives so much easier, and you don’t need to invest in a huge wardrobe worrying about each occasion. Meaning, you can put your elegant high heels on and you are ready for a busy day in the office or meeting, where maybe next day you can have your sneakers on and you have a completely different casual ‘boys look’, which in my opinion is very cool. In fact pantsuits are perfect both for day and night occasions, and what I have learned so far is that, to look sharp and clean you need to keep your accessories to a minimum. So, I guess a white t-shirt under and the right shoes is more then enough. Enjoy your day dear ladies !
There is something about a white t-shirt when the summer comes. Well, it is still on its way, but as soon the sun comes out, white t-shirt occupies my wardrobe. That is the most easy, classic piece for the summer to have in your closet, as it goes nice with jeans, skirt, blazer or office suit. And of course most important, it is super comfy and practical. The one I have on, got some pretty and summery detail on it, but most of the time I choose a plain white. To celebrate the upcoming summer days, let’s add some colorful details to our outfits. Seems like yellow is quite trendy this season, so why not to play with this pretty color. You can also go for anything you like… Green, blue, red, pink or orange are good this spring as well. Statement earring are back on the trend and if you used to be a big fan of it, I guess you already noticed most of the fashionistas going around on the streets with some cool pieces. Please don’t run into the stores to spend a bunch of money, good styling is not about that. Check what you have in your accessories collection. Try it, play with it, go with it…

For the last few years the mixture of different prints became a fashion trend. However there are still many women out there who do not dare to wear more then one printed fabric at once. My sister for example with a very minimalistic style would never do that, as most of the time she spends in the office dressed in a very diplomatic way. She loves fashion, however she would not mix too many different fabrics even in her spare time. Well, I think that women can play with prints and be stylish on the job as well.
To make a safer choice you could start by playing only with black and white colors, in order to create a classic and stylish look. Make sure that you are mixing maximum two pieces together. Or you could add an accessory like for example a floral scarf, which you can always take of if you don’t feel comfortable. You can also play with the size of prints, within the same color group. I personally love stripes and it is such an easy print to wear, as it matches almost with everything. As you can see I really got some contrast between my pieces, since the print of my jersey top is very bulky, compare to my blazer. However, I think that this top would go very nice with any kind of printed blazer, skirt or pants. Try flowers, try geometric shapes, try any color and you will make a statement!

If you consider yourself a practical woman, then I guess this post is for you. Let’s talk about minimalistic way of dressing, that has been all over the internet for a while. If you ask me, if my style is minimalistic, I would definitely say no, however when my head or my life is overloaded, it happens naturally. So I keep it clean and simple without having too many things on me. If you like this look let me tell you something… That is the most easy and fast way of dressing in the morning. What you have to do is to stick to a maximum of three colors. Some stylists would say black and white are the essential, where I think it is not necessarily. The most important thing is, that you keep it simple, with minimal amount of shades. However, black and white are the most easy colors to combine in order to create cool and sharp minimal outfit. I personally love plain white t-shirts, and that is a ‘must’ item in my wardrobe, since it is very practical and goes so well with trousers or jeans. Another good thing about minimalistic style is that you need a good variety of classic pieces in your closet. That is super nice since you going to keep these clothes for many years, and it will allow you to invest in good quality items. To finish your look, add a minimum amount of accessories, like a pair of tiny earrings or necklace. Remember less is more, and not always has to be boring…

My mother used to say that yellow and dark blue are “my colors” when I was a child and she would always look for dresses in these tones. Well, maybe that’s why I kind of feel sympathy for these colors. Blue navy always makes me feel very comfortable, like you know the feeling of being in your “own skin”… If you are a big fan of black, but still want some changes, this might be a good alternative for you due to it’s solid tone. Moreover, it is a very neutral and universal shade, so you can wear it anywhere with everything, and of course don’t forget denim! In fact Navy Peony is one of the colors of Fall 2017, according to Pantone Color Institute. Well, I know I know… I am mixing seasons, but who cares, there are no rules in styling in these days, the most important thing is how you feel. Combine it with light shades to give some contrast and I guess you have a total summer look.

There is something about denim, and I guess these are the pieces, which stay in our closets for many years. Classic, cool and never goes out of style. Well, maybe particular styles, but not the fabric. In fact denim is the most unsustainable material in textile industry, so remember, when you want to get rid of it, fix it, remake it and bring it back to life!
Anyways, I did not wear jeans that often this winter so I kind of missed that, and now I can’t get enough of it. So, denim on denim is my new favourite look, which has been on the streets for years. Some would say a big NO to this kind of combination, however if you gonna do it right you will end up with a smart and casual look. Just remember to mix different tones, let’s say dark blue jeans with light blue shirt or jacket. If you have the same color pieces, try to add accessories, like bright belt or scarf, to give a bit more contrast.
If you want the same look as mine, I have to disappoint you since my denim pieces are vintage. However, that’s not the point! Check what you have in your wardrobe, and play with different tones and colors. I am sure you gonna find some nice styles and will end up with beautiful outfits.

For the last few days, I was super busy with some graphic design projects, so I did not have any time to edit any pictures and spend time on my blog. Finally I am back on track, and it feels lovely.
So let’s talk a bit about this color that was a big hit in 2000’s. All of us know that fashion trends repeating itself every 10-15 years, and I remember how my wardrobe was occupied by khaki at that time. Happy to see that same color tones are back on the fashion runways, since I am a big fan of it. You might say that it is more for fall and winter due to it’s darkness, however specially in the summer khaki looks so beautiful on sun kissed skin, and you probably already know that. In fact, you can combine and mix it with any color and will never fail, so I guess I would say, it is the most easy color to wear. And how about a pair of oversize khaki pants? That was super trendy in the 2000’s right? And seems that it is on the way back. Well, the best thing about it, is the casual look and of course comfort!

Hello ladies, I guess we could say that “Converse” season is officially opened. It is not too cold and not too wet to wear these classic and comfy beauties. I know some people are obsessed with collecting different colors, and last day my friend was trying to count her pairs, and ended up with nine! I am so curious, how about you guys?
I am pretty sure we all went through spring ‘syndrome’ already, when all you want is to look nice. When you want to get out and enjoy the weather and feel beautiful by feeling the spring in the air. Winter wardrobe, that is something you don’t even want to look at, and you are rushing to pack it away as soon as you have time for it. However, this time of the year often can be quite tricky and some unexpected weather changes might not be very satisfying. So, what to do when the temperature goes down and reminds us more of the winter weather, even though it is still spring? That is quite irritating because very often we don’t know what to wear… Well, I would suggest go for something warm, but fresh! Something that will keep you cozy and comfy but still very summerish. A light bomber jacket, or pastel trench coat could create a lighter and more outgoing style. You could also add layers and mix some different spring prints, for making it even more eye catching. And don’t forget sunglasses, even though it is cold outside, you need to protect your beautiful eyes and complete your stylish look!
