What I like about fashion in these days, is that it allows you to be creative in so many different ways. And sometimes just one little detail, can help you go crazy and create so many different looks. Have you noticed that brooches are having a good time on the red carpet and fashion magazines lately? So, let’s bring it on! For many years this accessory has been a statement piece, regardless size, colour or shape. It can really bring some life to an old outfit, and you have so many possibilities on how you want to wear it, depending on your personal style. I like to wear brooches in a bit more unusual way, to emphasise the outfit. Today I combined it with my favourite silk scarf, where sometimes I like to decorate a simple belt to create a cool and unique look.
You know my passion for vintage items, so for this look I chose an old grandmas’s brooch which is my biggest treasure. But if you want to experiment, you can get some pretty cool pieces in most fashion stores at the moment. Hope you got inspired and wish you a lovely day..
Some days, all you need is a comfy pair of jeans and something super relaxing. And I guess for the most of us that’s all we want in the weekends. I know for many women, boyfriend jeans are just out of the subject, cause well, it has a special cut and does not mach our unique bodies. I could never find a perfect pair of boyfriend jeans for my self, because well, I am quite short person and it would make me look a bit funny. Recently, I found a pair that works for me and what I also discovered that, if I wear something to cover my butt, like a long shirt or oversize jumper, it gives a more flattering look. Try, maybe it will work for you as well… For a casual day like this I would go for a pink shirt, to neutralise this super boyish look. In fact, we all know that pink is a feminine colour, so why not..
Enjoy your weekend ladies!

When the summer leaves us, we rush to jump into autumn jackets and heavy jumpers. I see so many bloggers and fashion magazines talking about winter pieces already, which I think is way too early. We still have the whole September in front of us, which I am sure will bring many sunny days, demanding light summer pieces. I personally like to reorganise my wardrobe, when October starts, when the leaves starts to change colours and when the air becomes cooler. That is the time when i feel the need for fall tones, blending into the whole autumn spirit. So, right now I am keeping my summer pieces out, because you know we have the whole cold season in front of us. In fact, it is not the end of the summer that gives us the feeling of buying new items.. It is marketing and social media that plays with our minds! So, don’t be a victim of that..
Buy the way I am in love with my vintage belt, which was a bit impulsive buy! However I feel it is going to be my new statement piece this autumn.
I wish you all a wonderful month ahead friends.. Enjoy!
It is crazy how fashion and our lifestyles change. New trends are coming out and going away. Ten years ago we would consider sneakers as more sporty wear, only matching it with casual, ‘relaxed’ outfits. Today, a pair of trainers, combined with a floral, romantic dress is totally ok in our society. There are so many magazines and blogs, sharing some good tips on how to wear a classic pair of sneakers with unusual pieces. In fact, I believe that you will never fail by thinking outside the box in these days. Sneakers with most unmatchable outfit, can really make a statement and became the biggest trend. It is hard to say who brought these trends into the streets, but when Chanel put sneakers into haute couture collection, it became 100% acceptable to wear trainers with evening pieces.
If you want to mix and match your sneakers with any outfit, I would advice you to invest into basic sneakers, with very classic a neutral colours, like black or white. In that case you do not need to think about the colours, it will match perfectly with any of your outfits, like for example a classic red nail polish. With good basics you will have endless options for creating different looks for different occasions.

We are all different, with unique lifestyles and personalities. We grew up in different countries, cultures or religions… However, we all know what is behind that logo of a little guy Mickey Mouse. More or less, this iconic figure influenced our childhood, leaving us with warm and nostalgic feelings. Maybe that is one of the reasons why this character continuously staying on the adult fashion pieces for years. Perhaps it indicates our obsession with Mickey. Well, I am a little bit in love too, with this trend. However, I would not go for brand new pieces available at Disney store, since Mickey Mouse is a retro character. I want to keep it vintage in order to create the cool old-school style. I found my pants in the local vintage store, reminding me of 90’s, childhood, and neighbourhood kids.. If you are a bit childish like me, try to search for vintage items on Etsy.com, where you can find a lot of options and styles with Disney motives.
Everybody noticed that gingham trend has been on top this spring and summer, and it seems like it is not ready to leave us yet. I love this kind of print because it is super easy to style. However, there are many women out there who would not dare to mix this pattern into their wardrobe. And I know why, because for many it associates with classic picnic blanket. Well, that is why I love it so much, cause it brings good emotions, and can make you look refreshingly chic. Go for black and white gingham instead of traditional red, blue or green. It will give a more neutral but still playful look. You can find so many different styles in the fashion stores, from classy masculine, to very feminine pieces at the moment. Gingham items don’t have to feel rustic and old fashion, since it got some trendy touches of ruffles or appliqués. For a feminine and modern look, team your gingham look with white sneakers.
The summer is still here and the whole August is ahead. However going back into office mood might be hard for most of us, while beach, sand and summer sunsets are still dancing in our heads. Yes, post vacation situation can be hard sometimes. So, how to jump into work outfit, after few weeks in relaxed atmosphere, where the only things you needed was a bikini and a small evening dress? You might want to wear something relaxed and sporty but without overdoing it. We all know that high heels is a way to express our feminine spirit and at the same time a statement piece for an elegant and sophisticated look. If you are afraid of wearing too sporty clothes, neutralise it with your elegant pair of high heels. It is all about balance, and what I mean is that you simply mix elegant with sporty, feminine with masculine or classy with extravagant. Office wear should not be put into frames (well it used to be), and we should still be able express ourselves in a way of who we are..
We got the most crazy weather here in Copenhagen. It’s not very cozy when you are freezing all the time. It is suppose to be summer! So, I wear a lot of layers recently. Of course I want to avoid winter pieces, cause that is not how it suppose to be in July month. So, if you are facing the same issue, let me give you a smart advice. Do not jump into chunky winter sweaters and jackets! By layering your outfit with fresh summer items, you will come up with some nice combinations, keeping you warm and stylish at the same time. Well, and if the temperature suddenly goes up, you can always remove some pieces. Actually if you have an oversize shirt or two, you can always wear it open instead of a blazer, and it will give a nice and cool look without feeling too hot.
Buongiorno my dear friends, here is quick update of my recent trip to Italy, which has been like the best therapy. The nature, the architecture and of course the food is on top, and I guess there are no people on earth who would regret that. I visited Florence, Perugia, San Marino and Rimini this time. I must say that from the whole trip Perugia was my favorite place. Not so many tourists, good food and the architecture is super cozy. Walking in the city is like being in a big castle since the streets are so tiny and small. The next stop was Florence and I have to say that the city atmosphere is a bit crazy. There were 40 degrees outside and it was incredibly crowded with tourists. Anyways, if you are going to the place soon, you must try their ice cream, probably the best in the whole Italy. And don’t forget to visit Caffe Gilli, with the best, beautiful sweets and Tiramisu!
San Marino, a micro state surrounded by Italy is worth to see if you are traveling in the east part of the country. The city located on the top of the mountain with beautiful view and cozy environment. You must try their famous regional Piadina, a flat bread filled with delicious ham, salad or cheese. While visiting San Marino, I have stayed couple of days at Rimini, the Italian seaside holiday destination with a very long beach and cozy restaurants, serving delicious food. The pink night festival La Notte Rosa was held at that time, so I was actually able to see how it looks like. Everything decorated in pink, people dressed in pink, a lot of events and concerts along the beach. But if you want to try it out, you have to wait for another summer, since it is an annual festival on Adriatic coast.
